My favorite synonyms include: Prepare, guide, enlighten, uplift and elevate!

At Blue Dog Elite, the goal is to not only provide easy to understand and incremental instruction to an owner, but for you to understand why you are doing it and what your goal should be through the work. Not only can I train your dog, but I can teach you how to as well!

The second component to this is training the dog. Whether laying a foundation of basic obedience or working to modify a behavioral issue, I strive to offer all my dogs fair, balanced and humane training methods. No 2 dogs are alike or will respond in the exact same way so flexibility is key when it comes to working with dogs of different breeds and temperaments.

Innovate

Definition: To make changes in something established especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products. To introduce something new. To make changes; do something in a new way.

Favorite synonyms include: initiate, introduce, establish and launch!

It is important to me to develop a training plan that seriously considers not just the potential of your dog, but will realistically fit into your lifestyle and be obtainable for an owner as well.

I will introduce concepts, techniques and training tools that will be new to you, and will make sure the plan is one that custom designed with individuality in mind.

Empower

Definition: Give someone the power or authority to do something. To make someone stronger or more confident.

My favorite synonyms include: Invest, gift, inspire and encourage.

Out of the 3 pillars that define Blue Dog Elite, this one is my favorite and represents who I am as a trainer and as a human the most. I want to inspire confidence and a sense of accomplishment in the owners that I work so closely with. Sometimes we run into relationship or behavioral issues with our dogs because of our own personal hang ups. I will work hard to get to know you and understand where you are needing the most support and guidance. I am a compassionate and empathetic person and I feel it is of great value to connect with the humans I work with and lead them into greatness with their dogs!

Empowerment of your dog means giving them the learned skills and confidence they need to be happy and fulfilled as dogs and live a meaningful life with us. Providing outstanding leadership for our animals is the key to this. The best leaders don't just lead, they listen. Let me show you how.

Meet the Trainer

Hello! Thank you for taking a minute to get to know me better. I have a passion for working with dogs and helping people. It is an absolute labor of love for me and is something I feel excited and inspired to do every day. I am driven by a call to help others develop or improve a strong and balanced relationship with their dog. Their time on this earth with us is so short, and I want dogs and owners to maximize their full potential together. As much as I love teaching others, I will forever consider myself a student and will always be learning as much as I can about the training and behavior of dogs and devote time regularly to continuing education.

I am, what some would consider a" balanced" dog trainer, meaning I incorporate all 4 quadrants of positive and negative reinforcement into my training style and approach. I am experienced and educated in the proper and humane use of a variety of training tools including prong collars, slip leads and E-Collars (electronic, remote) and take my commitment seriously to providing thorough instruction to my clients in their proper use , as these tools can be literal life savers and game changers when introduced correctly and used responsibly. It is always my goal in training to have a dog work in a positive and upbeat state of mind and to use the least aversive tools and methods necessary for that particular animal. If you are new to the Blue Dog Elite family, This is where we begin. A home visit to meet you and your dog, get to know each other and discuss and set goals. Required for all new clients.

Puppy Right Start Program

Puppy Right Start Program

Structured guidance from the first days home through and beyond your pups first year of life. Encompassing all aspects of living with, socializing and training a puppy. Includes in home training sessions and Puppy Camp Days at Blue Dog Elite Headquarters.

A La Carte Training Sessions

reserved for addressing and modifying minor concerns or learning a new skill. Owners are active participants in handling their dogs. Initial consultation is a pre requisite.

A La Carte Training Sessions

Foundation obedience training and behavioral modification programs at Blue Dog Elite Headquarters, Flexible scheduling and customizable options to suit your needs, goals and budget. Scheduled during business hours Monday through Friday. Follow up one on one sessions always included with owner.

Overnight Camp

Field Trip meet ups

Intensive program offering boarding and training at my home. Very limited availability. Offered to only one client at a time. Fully customized program. A pre requisit to this program is that your dog is fully crate trained, and will comfortable and quietly use a crate during rest and overnight periods.

Field Trip meet ups

Training sessions offered in public settings. Most commonly used in intermediate to advanced training to work with distractions and real life situations. Open to dogs who have completed a training program with Blue Dog Elite previously.
